The english renaissance was spilt in to three time periods with many different sub periods. The major time periods were the late, the Mid, and the late. The sub periods usually were named after the rulers at that time or a designer who had great influence over the design in that era. England started into the path of the renaissance much later then the other european countries because it is an island. The english renaissance started in the late 15th century almost a hundred years after the italians. The major styles that are still very prevalent today are the Elizabethan, Tudor and Baroque. The english design was defiantly more of a more masculine design era and had a lot of manly things.

I reviewed emma's bog i loved all the examples that she put in her blog they are so cool to look at. i also really liked how she talked about all the different rulers from that time and how they had an influence on design.
I also reviewed stephanie's blog I really liked how she went into detail about the furniture from the time i thought i learned a lot from her blog this week.
