contemporary design
Contemporary or modern style is minimalist, but can be comfortable and stylish too. Integrating bold and luxurious interior accessories into the contemporary style interior designs as well as choosing bright color schemes to balance neutrals will help jazz up your contemporary décor. The distinctive characteristics of the contemporary/modern style style are minimalism, clean lines, and light sophistication. Usual color scheme for contemporary style is black, white, and neutrals. Bold accents bring in stylishness into the design. Lines and space are important in contemporary design. In such designs you can see geometric shapes, bold color blocks, high ceilings and bare windows. The furniture might be of bold colors, however it should have clean lines and shapes as well. The interior designs in contemporary style is very minimalist yet stylish.

Bucket List
There are many places that I love to to travel and many places I will go before i kick the bucket but there is place that i would like to eleborate on right now, Dubai. I feel like Dubai is a city from the future I feel that it is leaps and bounds above the rest of the cities of the world they have some major landmarks such as the Burj Al Arab is considered to be one of the extravagant and
luxurious hotels all around the world. It is the first seven star hotel
in the world. , Jumeirah Beach Walk is the most massive single-phase residential
area among the world’s scene. And this one is particularly panoramic,
situated along Dubai’s stunning marina and beach front. The Dubai Mall takes the Manolo Blahniks with its massive collection of
high quality stores, a 22-screen cinema, an indoor theme park, Kidzania
world for children, a giant Aquarium and underwater zoo, and a
full-sized ice rink, and Vegas-style shows at the Dubai Fountain. the Palm island are one of the three architectural wonders of the world were designed in a shape of a
date palm tree and appear as a massive trunk, a full palm crown with
fronds, and a crescent island to act as a breakwater wall from the
overhead view. Ski Dubai, located in the Mall of the Emirates, makes snowy slopes of up
to 1,300 feet possible all year round. You don’t even have to bring
your equipment as you can rent skis or inner tubes for riding the hills.

The international movement had four main architects Walter Gropius, Lugwig Mies van der Rohe, Le cobusier and Frank Lloyd Wright. I am going to focus on Mies van der Rohe. Mies van der Rohe was a geramn architect who was famous for his exhibitions especially the Barcelona Exhibition of 1929. when Nazi Germany was taking over Mies van der Rohe had to relocated to America in 1937. He settle in Chicago. Where he was the head of the archtectural program at the illinois institude of technology. He made modernism more mainstream in the United States. He also coined the phrases "less is More" and 'God is in the details". Some of Mies van der Rohe's more famous works or the barcelona chair and the Fransworth house.

Frank Lloyd Wright
Frank Lloyd Wright was an American architect, interior designer,
writer, and educator, who designed more than 1,000 structures, 532 of
which were completed. Wright believed in designing structures that were
in harmony with humanity and its environment, a philosophy he called organic architecture. His work includes original and innovative examples of many building
types, including offices, churches, schools, skyscrapers, hotels, and
museums. Frank Lloyd Wright
believed that rooms in Victorian era homes were boxed-in and confining.
He began to design houses with low horizontal lines and open interior
spaces. Rooms were often divided by leaded glass panels. Furniture was
either built-in or specially designed. His Homes included Low-pitched roof, Overhanging eaves, Horizontal lines, Central chimney, Open floor plan, Clerestory windows.

protomodernism
The postmodernism movement began in 1897 and lasted until 1959. During this design movement there were two sub movements. they were the Vienna sessions and the Deutscher werkbund. they were similar but both had their own flair. Deutscher Werkbund Movement set the stage for the international style and the art deco style. they also worked as a collaboration with their designers and manufactures to improve competitiveness in German design. The Vienna secession began in Vienna Austria around the same time as the Deutscher Werkbund. This movement made world wide advances in Arts, history, psychology and philosophy. they held a great interest in culture and design. some major designers during this time were olbrich, klimt, wagner and loos.
