Contemporary or modern style is minimalist, but can be comfortable and stylish too. Integrating bold and luxurious interior accessories into the contemporary style interior designs as well as choosing bright color schemes to balance neutrals will help jazz up your contemporary décor.The distinctive characteristics of the contemporary/modern style style are minimalism, clean lines, and light sophistication. Usual color scheme for contemporary style is black, white, and neutrals. Bold accents bring in stylishness into the design. Lines and space are important in contemporary design. In such designs you can see geometric shapes, bold color blocks, high ceilings and bare windows. The furniture might be of bold colors, however it should have clean lines and shapes as well. The interior designs in contemporary style is very minimalist yet stylish.

Buckey List Peer Review

Amanda V: I thought that Amanda did a really good job at explaining a little bit about each place that she mentioned and I really liked how labeled each picture.

Happy: I really like the happy did not just pick one country she picked one place from many different countries. i also like how she put a blerb under the picture of the place.

Bucket List

There are many places that I love to to travel and many places I will go before i kick the bucket but there is place that i would like to eleborate on right now,  Dubai. I feel like Dubai is a city from the future I feel that it is leaps and bounds above the rest of the cities of the world they have some major landmarks such as the Burj Al Arab  is considered to be one of the extravagant and luxurious hotels all around the world. It is the first seven star hotel in the world. , Jumeirah Beach Walk is the most massive single-phase residential area among the world’s scene. And this one is particularly panoramic, situated along Dubai’s stunning marina and beach front. The Dubai Mall takes the Manolo Blahniks with its massive collection of high quality stores, a 22-screen cinema, an indoor theme park, Kidzania world for children, a giant Aquarium and underwater zoo, and a full-sized ice rink, and Vegas-style shows at the Dubai Fountain. the Palm island are one of the three architectural wonders of the world were designed in a shape of a date palm tree and appear as a massive trunk, a full palm crown with fronds, and a crescent island to act as a breakwater wall from the overhead view. Ski Dubai, located in the Mall of the Emirates, makes snowy slopes of up to 1,300 feet possible all year round.  You don’t even have to bring your equipment as you can rent skis or inner tubes for riding the hills.

Mid century peer review

This week I reviewed scott and Megan
Scott: I thought that he did a pretty good job at the charactertics of the era and I really like that he made a list of them intsead of just stated them
Megan: I really like her formating alot so much i wanna do it like that and i thought that she did a good job at explaining each part of the era well.

Mid- Century Moderism

Mid- Century Modernism Architecture Included flat roofs, Angular details, Asymmetrical profiles, Expansive walls of glass, clean lines wide open floor Plans, Married indoor space to the outside. Some important Designers from this era were Eero Saarinen, Charles and Ray Eames, George Nelson and Isamu Noquchi. Eero made things thinks such as tulip chair Produced by Knoll, the Womb Chair,  and Executive Chair. Charles and Ray Eames they made furniture such as the chaise, Aluminum group, Lounge chair, and the molded plywood chair and table. George Nelson DEsigned furniture such as the coconut chair, Marshmellow chair and Platform bench. I believe that the Mid-Century Modernism era was about the belief that modernism is a good thing.
